Insurance Information

For your convenience, we contact your dental insurance company on your initial consultation so that you will have a good understanding of your costs prior to treatment. Every effort will be made to closely estimate your co-payments, deductibles, and maximums. Oral surgery procedures are often covered by both medical and dental insurance.

We accept all insurance; however, if we are not a network provider for your insurance, most companies will pay in-network benefits if they don’t have a network provider within a certain mile radius.

If you have additional questions regarding costs and payment options, feel free to contact our office.

For your convenience, we accept:

  • Cash
  • Checks
  • Most major credit cards

Many of our patients also take advantage of our payment plans available through CareCredit. With this plan, you may qualify for a 6 month interest free plan or low monthly payments on an extended payment plan. You can apply online at www.carecredit.com or by calling 1-800-365-8295. This application and approval process takes less than 10 minutes and can be used immediately.

Dental Insurance FAQ

Can oral surgery be covered under my medical insurance?

Although insurance plans vary, oral surgery is typically covered under dental insurance.
In the event there are impacted teeth or a biopsy procedure, occasionally medical insurance will cover.

Does Medicare cover my extractions?

Unfortunately at this time, Medicare does not cover extractions.

Are you a preferred provider for any insurance companies?

We are considered out of network for all insurance companies. Most insurance companies will still provide coverage
at our office but would be considered at your out of network benefit level.

Insurance states they will cover my procedure at 100%, why do I have to pay anything?

Insurance companies pay a percentage of their ALLOWABLE amount which is almost always less than the actual fees.
